Troubleshooting
| Code | What you see | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| E-APP-120 | “This app isn't available in your country” on Google Play | Orbit is listed in 46 countries. If your Play country isn't one of them, download the direct APK from get.orbit.example/android (Settings → Security → allow installs from your browser for this one install), or ask support to add your country. |
| E-APP-130 | “For your security, your phone isn't allowed to install unknown apps” | Only for the direct APK: Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps → your browser → Allow, install Orbit, then switch it off again. |
| E-APP-110 | Pairing code expired | Codes last 10 minutes. Generate a new one in Settings → Apps and enter it within 10 minutes. |
| E-APP-111 | Pairing code not recognized | Check the digits (0 vs O, 1 vs 7) and that the web app is signed in to the right Orbit account. Only Owners and Admins can pair devices. |
| E-APP-140 | Can't sign in with email and password | On TVs use Sign in with code instead; passwords with special characters are hard to type with a remote. If you use two-factor authentication, the code sign-in skips it. |
| — | No notifications | Long-press the Orbit icon → App info → Notifications → on, and switch off battery optimisation for Orbit. |
